SECOND BALLOON PAYMENT PAID IN FULL!

Thank you for your prayers for CBC church over these past four months. God has once again done the impossible as the church was able to pay the $103,000 balloon payment on March 4th with only five percent of that coming from the States.

We are witnessing a miracle as ninety individuals or families of all ages are giving on an average 40% of their income. Many of them are professionals but earn much less than their counterparts in the US, with the per capita median income at CBC church being $863 a month. Keep in mind also, that it costs 25% more to live in Chile than the US. To top it all off…the congregation at CBC is united, full of joy, excitement and expectation as they give beyond their means. This has not been drudgery but rather an adventure in FAITH, experiencing the hand of God sustaining them through this process.

CBC Church has taken on the challenge to raise the money for the last balloon payment of $103,000 due on July 4th. Can you encourage them by helping pay for some of the much needed rennovations to be able to permanently move over to the property? We need more chairs for the larger sanctuary and as you can observe from the pictures, there is much work to be done! See the picture captions for needs and estimates.
