I'm a grandma!

Anson Richard Ellis was born to Devin & Karyn on October 11th, weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz and measuring 20 1/2 inches.

Just six days after Anson's birth, my dad, Morris Devin, was escorted peacefully into God's presence the morning of October 17th. He and my mom, Joyce, served faithfully for over forty years as missionaries to the country of Indonesia, leaving behind hundreds of pastors and leaders who are serving all over that great nation.

I will be traveling to Seattle for Dad's Memorial which will be at Cedar Park Church, 16300 112th Ave NE, Bothell, Washington, on November 16th at 1:00pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Devin Memorial Scholarship #669001 at Assemblies of God World Missions in Springfield, for the training of more students for ministry throughout Indonesia.

He who promised is faithful!

"All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change." James 1:17 NET

God is doing it again at Christian Center of Sinincay. Just like the miracle of provision four years ago in the church in Concepción, Chile, once again we are witnessing an outpouring of generous giving which is transforming this church and reaching towards the goal of finishing their sanctuary. Since July this small congregation has given an average of two times more than their general fund giving each month. Please pray for each family and individual who is stepping out in faith, that they will continue to experience God's provision.

The goal was $10,000 to match what the missionary team will give. But God surprised us with a total of $29,700 in Faith Promises!

Young and old are stepping out in faith and witnessing God's miraculous provision.

Faithful in hearing us

"Hear my prayer, O Lord; answer my plea because you are faithful to your promises." Psalm 143:1 TLB

Please pray for my two adopted countries, Ecuador and Chile, who are both experiencing political unrest which in turn affects their economy and security. Pray that we, God's people, will rise to the occasion both in compassion and boldness in sharing our faith to those without hope.

Pray for me as I continue to step into the opportunities God opens for me, that I will be sensitive to His leading and full of His Spirit as I minister to those around me.
