Cuenca, Ecuador

In March I had the opportunity to spend a week in Cuenca, the city where I will be living on my next missions assignment. A new missionary friend, Becky Davis, and her husband, Thom, hosted me, showing me around the city, Unsion TV station as well introducing me to the rest of the missionary team. I am grateful for the warm reception!

SUCUA, Costa Rica and Mexico City

Since my last newsletter I have not only traveled to Cuenca, but also to the jungle community of Sucua where a team of AGWM missionaries is impacting the entire region for Jesus. Many thanks to Parkway Christian Center of Grants Pass who invited me to join them!

I have also traveled to Costa Rica to speak at a Church Planting Boot Camp for the new missionaries to Latin America who are studying Spanish. By the end of the camp, half of the students raised their hands that they will be involved in church planting when they reach their respective fields! In addition, I was invited to participate in a Church Planting Dialogue for AGWM missionaries, this time in Mexico City.

In addition to overseas ministry, I have been visiting churches in Oregon and spoke at Sandy Assembly's women's retreat.

Pray for upcoming cuba trip

The last two weeks of May I will be accompanying five other missionaries to Cuba with the specific goal of inspiring and teaching the Cuban pastors about missions. We will be splitting up in to three teams of two, each team speaking at nine full day conferences throughout three districts of the Assemblies of God of Cuba.

Please pray for anointing and ability, for God to show up in a mighty way in each conference. Pray for our health and protection. "When a good man prays, great things happen." James 5:16b
