CBC Celebration!

On July 4th CBC church paid the last $100,000 balloon payment to the owners. After the initial two hundred thousand dollar downpayment which the church had saved up previously, this generous congregation gave $300,000 in one year with only 1% of that coming from the US. Many miracles of provision, testimonies of the widow’s mite and sacrifice are wrapped up in this. CBC will never be the same!

God has provided additional funds from family, friends and churches to help with the renovations so that the congregation can permanently move to the new property sooner rather than later, hopefully in the next couple of months. Thank you to those who have given. CHILE wins Copa america soccer tournament

On July 4th, for the first time in 100 years, Chile won the America’s Cup, beating out Argentina in penalty kicks. The church watched the game on a big screen at the new property, complete with “choripanes” a spicy sausage in french bread, face painting, vuvuzelas and lots of screaming, shouting and celebration.

Pastor Ezequiel who is Argentine, suffers through Chile's win. Nicole, his Chilean wife, applies diplomacy with both flags.

Montgomery First visit

A 4th of July to remember, thirty six youth and adults from Montgomery First Assembly of God in Alabama came to Concepción to help with the renovations on the property as well as doing evangelism in schools, parks, churches, a soccer club and children’s home. An enriching intercultural experience for both the Chileans and Americans, friendships were formed and many lives touched. Thank you First Assembly for coming!
